Demo CD is what we need, right? before proceeding with the actual studio recording, we can actually mix up or integrate audio files and lyrics through our PC at home... Everybody can share their ideas to help other members of this community for the success of our goal...BICOLANO MUSICIANS! ORAGON! :)

To share something, i have this simple setup at home for recording... Pentium 4 Type PC with 1GB memory, Built-in Sound Card, baby plug and guitar cable connected to my equipment (by default sa keyboard, sometimes connected to bass or lead guitar with effects) and Software. I was using Adobe Audition 2.0 pero medyo complicated... you have to deal with configurations para mapagayon... I've tried MixCraft software, medyo simple interface...pang capture lang sya.. pigshare ko na man ngani ki Elly....ano padi dyakyubs, na try mo na? About the output quality, I saved the file in MP3 format...ok man si result..clear...nasa harong kaya si mga sample audio ko, dai ko ma upload ngonian...for testimonials, you can ask mher and brian about the quality of output...maurag man, so far! pwede na pag demo cd. hehehe :)

I've tried using the MIDI Interface, connected man sya...detected kan PC, pero dai mahiling sa software... what do you think is the problem? Sa software or sa setup kang equipment... I've tried it using my keyboard's PC Mode...dai man guiraray nagwork.. hehehe padi elly (dyakyubs), share your idea about your MIDI interface... hehehe :)

When using the Adobe Audition, you have to deal daw with the LATENCY issues as advised by Lord Alvin Bataller... hehehe...dai ko nakua si setup kaya ngpalit ako ning software..hehehe any advise from the recording masters? Guitar Lord Alvin, Guitar Lord Don A. and Brian S.? hehehe :) Peace!

I use Cakewalk Sonar pag nagigibo akong mga kanta. ayos man sya, I dont use midi/audio interface mau man syang latency sa recording kaya no need na, PERO kung me mga vsti software (e.g guitar rig, effects) kang gamit for real time effects thats the only point na magamit kanang interface. ako I just plug directly to the built in soundcard

GUITAR ------> EFFECTS + pre-amp -------------------->PC soundcard ------------> DAW

nagibo man ako minsan mga drum tracks using drum sample, drag and drop lang, heehehe, tapoz record na guitar, ang ginigibo ko man pag nagagamit akong guitar rig, marecord muna akong clean guitar, tapos saka ko na kakagan effects (e.g dist, OD, mods, delay) ayos man siya,

Kang nag record po kami kang demo mi kulang ako sa mic kaya ang set up ko sa drums overhead lang saka kick. ang ginamit ko na software iyo ang cool edit pro... iyo na po ngunyan ini ang adobe audition ta binakal kang adobe ang cool edit pro. ang interface nya halos pareho lang, nagdagdag lang dikit na features ang adobe. sa mga gitara, sarong haraning mic sa amp tapos sarong harayo para mas makapal ang tanog.. iniiwasan ko dati mag direktsa sa PC ta nakakanusan ako sa tanog... pero ngunyan may mga nagruluwasan na na mga USB na pang direkta kaya magayon naman daa ang tanog.. bale ang set up ko po dati analog na mixer na nakaconnect sa PC kaya medyo makanos ang tanog, pero ok lang. :)

guitar/bass -----> Effects/ pre amp ------> amply(kung meron) ------> guitar port / soundcard

ok na un ready na un pangrecord.. sa drums and vocals sa studio nalng hihi..

mas makakatipid kau... try nyo... depende na lng yan sa pandinig nyo kung panu nyo i eedit ung mga tracks

the best na na try ko is Sonar talaga, pareho kita,, pro tool gusto ko itry pero maung pirated, hhaha., mahal ang software, pasubli daw sonar 7, 6 lang kaya sako,,

Mga Padi, I have attached / uploaded awhile ago two (2) sample audio files that I've made using my setup... paki check na lang kang quality...pwera kantyaw...demo fragments lang ito kang mga piggigibo mi.. hehehe thanks.

Ok man ang Adobe Audition! Pero nakakaua kami Guitar Tracks Pro by CakeWalk. Sobrang user-friendly. Gamit mi pag naggigibo songs, drum tracks and backing tracks. Ok man. Post ako details later.

Para sa mga naka Apple Computers try nindo Logic pro..ini Gamit ko sa recording medyo komplikado pero magayon talaga kaipuhan mo lang makabisa interface nya. im using M-Audio Firewire 1814 MIDI interface to deal with the latency, the best ining M-Audio pero yan lang ngani ta medyo madugo sa bulsa hehehe..Guitar Rig 3 ang gamit kong effects sa recording magayon ang mga tanog nya puede nindo sya idownload sa link na ini www.nativeinstruments.com. may sample na tanog ako duman sa video kong joe satriani cover guitar rig 3 gamit ko check nindo..saka idtong Daves gone skiing ko na video guitar Rig 3 man gamit ko.

..vote na kau kung anu ang pnkamaganda na recording software for band recording n madali lng gamitin..

..meron ako dati sonar pero di ko masyado naintindihan..

..tpos meron din ako d2 adobe audition..very easy lng..
