tama pala tlga na dpat,pag general practice na,last practice just before every gig,wag na kumanta.
hehe.e since minadali lng yung pagsepra nun,i had to sing.aun..15mns of rest was not enough.piyok!ouch!

pero i only did it once.then the rest of my performance on that gig went good already.whew!

I had a fair share of piyok moments while onstage with Cinderblock. Most of it are upon doing renditions of male voices (male voices can be a bit tricky at times...somtimes they are fu***** so low, sometimes it skyrockets to octaves of unbelievable heights). But according to my mentors, ang 'piyok' daa is a normal reflex of our muscles or throat during tense moments and it is perfectly, humanly normal! It will all boil down to really strengthening and practicing your instrument at all times. Pag halangkawon ang titirahon na kanta..make sure to always always:
1. stretch your voice thru humming,vocalizing or even talking at low frequencies several hours before the show.
2. lubricate! (water, water ,water.. pls. skip pei pah kua this small circular sweet candy has a drying effect on your instrument).
3. Relax and enjoy the moment (being conscious of how you will sound when you hit that note, makes the moment worse..)

To much gusto in singing...

Actually problema ko yan forever... I tend to conpensate on what I hear on the during practice and on the stage. Syempre mas makusog ang instruments so kinukusugan ko boses ko. to the point I am going Higher that necessary.. an octave higher is really hard when you are shouting. Pwede man sya makua sa hababa piglalangkawan ko pa. I try ko magrelaks and to hear my voice kesa sa instruments lang. Nag hahanap ako kadtong ear plugs tell you if it works...

ako, i piyoked at all songs i singed., i was singing en playing bass por Mishigo bipor., is okey, piyoking isnt bad., it do not kill you naman., so let all kip on piyoking until we don't piyok eynimor., peace ^^,
