On March 6, 2009, it was reported that Francis Magalona died at 12:00 noon due to acute myelogenous leukemia.Damn, sad week.

it was said that francis m. was supposed to play Super Proxy with the Eraserheads' second set...In honor of him, they sang Kaleidoscope world and Ely did Super Proxy as well. He fought his "condition", yet never called it a curse. He showed the world he was happy going through it all.

The thing is, death would come one day for all of us. It's expected. But death taking someone special, so young, someone with raw talent, someone who maybe did a big thing for someone or influenced another. Taking the life of someone whom we respect is moving. It exists. And it hurts to the living.

He will be remembered.
